Eight of Mason-Dixon’s best traveled to Elysburg Pennsylvania for the PA SCTP & AIM Trap Championships.
First up was Saturday’s PA SCTP Championship. Our Collegiate squad comprising of Noah Temple, Rachel Sauers, Travis Tyler, Ben Knepper, and Chase Watkins took home 1st place! Individual winners on Saturday included Travis Tyler as 1st, Noah Temple 2nd, and Rachel Sauers 3rd in the Collegiate division.
Next up was Sunday’s PA AIM Championship. The AIM competition differs from the SCTP as its categories are based on age. Our squads shot very well in this very competitive AIM event. Our Junior Gold squad of Noah Temple, Rachel Sauers, Travis Tyler, Ben Knepper, and Chase Watkins came home with second place with an excellent score of 484/500.
Sunday’s AIM event also saw two Clay Busters win individual awards. Travis Tyler won second place in the Junior Gold division while Rachel Sauers brought home High Lady in the Junior Gold division!
In addition to the SCTP and AIM youth shoots, the ATA’s Colonial Classic was held over the weekend where Travis Tyler took home Junior Gold runner-up with an impressive 198/200!!!

While some of you move on to Sporting Clays this weekend, others will set their sights on the SCTP National Team Championship in July. Whatever you have on your schedule this summer I hope you carve out some time to continue practicing!
