Thirty-four of Mason-Dixon’s best traveled to Elysburg Pennsylvania for the PA SCTP & AIM Trap Championships.
First up was Saturday’s PA SCTP Championship. Individual winners on Saturday include Robbie Carpenter as 1st Place in the Intermediate/Entry division.
Rain dominated the day for Sunday’s PA AIM Championship. The AIM competition differs from the SCTP as its categories are based on age. Our squads shot very well in this very competitive AIM event. Our Junior Gold squad of Eric Inch, Preston Whiteman, Sarah Simmons, Sam Rooney, and Darin Wise took home second place.
Sunday’s AIM event also saw two Clay Busters win individual awards. Robbie Carpenter won first place in the Pre-Sub division while Rachel Sauers brought home High Lady in the Junior division.
I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize the efforts of our outstanding coaches. These people pour their hearts and souls into our team. Great job everyone!!!!

While some of you move on to Sporting Clays this weekend, others will set their sights on the SCTP National Team Championship in July. Whatever you have on your schedule this summer I hope you carve out some time to continue practicing!
