WHO: The first 40 shooters to register. If more than 40 shooters pre-register, junior shooters will have priority.

WHAT: Weekly trap league were individuals shoot two rounds of trap (50 targets) from the 16 yard line

WHERE: Glen Rock Shooting Club, 22 Winchester Rd, Shrewsbury, PA 17361

WHEN: Thursdays starting September 4, 2014 and continuing through October 16, 2014 (7 Weeks)

TIME: First squad out at 6:00PM, last squad out at 7:45PM

LEAGUE FEES: $20 (Onetime fee that covers both Weekly and End of League Awards)

WEEKLY TARGET FEES: $6 – Juniors 17 and under, $7 – Members, $8 – Non-members 18 and over

LEAGUE RULES:

  • This fun trap league and is open to everyone however it is expected that all attendees are familiar with basic firearms safety.
  • Registration will be available onsite however you can save time and guarantee your spot by pre-registering.
  • Beginners are welcome to participate and we do have a few loaner guns and coaches available by request, however BEGINNERS AND INEXPERIENCED SHOOTERS ARE REQUIRED TO PRE-REGISTER.
  • Participants are required to provide their own Shotguns, Ammunition (#7½, #8), and Hearing & Eye Protection.
  • Both Weekly and End of League Awards will be based on age categories.  Age categories are established on the first day of the new target year (9/1/14).
    • Open – over 23
    • Junior  – 15-23
    • Sub-Junior – 14 and under
  • Weekly Awards
    • Category High – 2 Boxes of Ammo
    • Category Runner-Up – 1 box of Ammo
  • End of League Awards
    • High Overall
    • Category Champion
    • Category Runner-Up
  • There will be no Weekly Runner-Up or End of League Runner-Up awards in any category with less than 10 participants. A minimum of 20 participants are required to award End of League High Overall.
  • To qualify for the end of league awards, participants must participate in 5 of the 7 weeks. End of League Awards are based on a participants best 5 scores. Make ups and shooting ahead are allowed to accommodate schedule conflicts. Make ups and shooting ahead scores only count toward End of League Awards and do not count toward any Weekly Awards.
  • Settling Ties:
    • Ties for all Weekly Awards will first be figured by reverse sub event. If a tie still stands, it will be figured by reverse run. If shooters are still tied after these determinations, the next league week’s score will used as the tie breaker. If a tie still exists on the last night of the league, it will be figured by a miss and out shoot-off.
    • Any ties for the End of League Awards will be figured by a 25 target shoot-off on the last night of the league. If a tie still stands, it will be figured by a miss and out shoot-off.
  • This is meant to be a fun league however if any questions or issues arise they shall be directed to the League Committee, who is Roger Beardsley, Jesse Smith, and John Elmore.
