Coach/Volunteer Help Needed
We have lost a few coaches so we really need to recruit some additional help this year. We are planning a coaches/volunteers meeting at Jefferson Sportsmen on February 20 at 7pm. We are in need of adults to coach, supervise, score, etc. Experience is good, but certainly not necessary. We have found that the more actively involved our parents are, the better the program. If you or someone you know is interested in helping this year please let me know and make arrangements to attend the meeting.
White Rose Friends of NRA Dinner
Please consider attending the White Rose Friends of NRA dinner on March 8, 2013. Adults and team members alike are welcome to attend. It’s very important that we support the Friends of NRA as they have been a HUGE supporter of the Mason-Dixon Clay Busters for many years. I think it would be very nice to have a group from Mason-Dixon attend this event together, as it would show our appreciation.
This is a fundraiser, so there will be lots of opportunities to participate in auctions and raffles for some really nice stuff during this event. These are purely optional. If you’re like me, I’m not in a position to spend a lot of money at the event, however, I am going to attend and do what I can to show my support for a very good organization.
Please let me know if you are able to attend. Tickets are $35 each and include a Full Course Buffet. Here is the list I have so far. This is a great start but it sure would be great if we had a few more young people:
